Heat-Spring® Bundle Kits

  • Bundle Kits come in a metalized bag
  • Labels are on the bag and also on the inner pack
  • Open the inner pack and your samples will be tape & reel packed
  • Peel back the cover tape to access the Heat-Springs®

Handling and Cutting Indium Heat-Springs®

  • Peel back the protective tape and remove the Heat-Spring®
  • Try not to bend or fold corners
  • Easy to cut with scissors
  • We recommend handling with round tip tweezers
  • Easily pierce holes for screws. Make sure you make a clean cut.
  • Do not throw away scrap. Heat-Springs® are a green material and can be recycled.
  • What about precise cutting for testing?
  • Heat-Springs® are easy to chop with a blade
  • All Indium Corporation thermal interface materials, including Heat-Springs®, will hold an indent
  • This enables you to evaluate surface co-planarity and alignment, during assembly
  • We often substitute plexiglass for a heat sink, to observe Heat-Spring® deformation
  • Tape & reel packaging for end use
