U.S. Should Adopt RoHS-Like Law, Poll Findings Suggest

Folks,

A recent Manufacturing Net article
states that a 3 month online poll of over 1500 people found that by a 2 to 1 margin the polltakers favor a US wide RoHS type law.

I have been saying for some time that this would make sense. Whether or not one likes RoHS, it will be easier to handle one law than 50+ (add DC, Puerto Rico etc. to the 50 states) different ones from each state.

Sadly there appears to be no evidence at all that this will happen.

Thanks to reader Carl for bringing this to my attention.

Cheers,

Dr. Ron

More should be done to recycle rather than affect product reliability by removing the Pb.
