Paul is a Senior Applications Engineer with 20 years experience in the solder-related industry. He holds a BS in chemistry and an AAS in Engineering Science. As one of the senior members of the engineering staff, Paul trains new engineers and sales personnel in Indium products and how they are used in customer applications.
Paul holds six US patents, five of which deal with solder and solder products. He developed Informs (reinforced solder preforms) and Integrated Preforms (linked solder preforms).
He has written and published several articles relating to solder and soldering, and assists hundreds of companies each year via email, phone, and direct site visits.
Amanda is an
Applications Engineer supporting our
Engineered Solder Products. She is experienced in addressing solder design issues a variety of industries including medical, military and photonics. Amanda specializes in coaching manufacturing, process, and design engineers on their choice and application of solders and other bonding materials to achieve reliable packaging and attachment solutions. She has presented at industry technical seminars such as
International Microelectronics and Packaging Society (IMAPS). She has authored technical papers on thermal management and microelectronics packaging materials. Amanda is active in several industry organizations including
SPIE,
IMAPS and the
IPC.
Prior to establishing her career with
Indium Corporation, Amanda received her BS in chemistry from
Utica College and worked as a research lab technician at
Cornell University, focusing on the physical properties of silicon. She is a member of the
American Chemical Society.
Carol is Product Manager for
Engineered Solder Materials. She has been with
Indium Corporation for over 20 years. Carol has served in several sales and marketing positions, and works extensively with customers on their applications and product needs. She is responsible for marketing Indium Corporation's
Engineered Solder Materials product line which includes
solder preforms,
solder wire and
solder ribbon.
Carol has a BS in Public Relations from
Utica College of Syracuse University.
Seth is the Product Support Specialist for Engineered Solder Materials. He has been with Indium Corporation for over 15 years, serving as manufacturing supervisor for various engineered electronics assembly materials, including: solder spheres, sputtering targets, indium chemicals and solder preforms. Seth has also worked extensively with our Customer Support teams, especially those in China, Singapore and Europe.
