How can I possibly put a semiconductor spin on this?
Our industry seems just as simple when it is viewed from the outside. It is just a little piece of silicon, right? A monster truck is just some big wheels on a lifted truck until you take a look inside and learn how the owner spent more on a vehicle than a large house.
Our family and friends may not know how complex the switch to low-k dielectrics can be, or what is involved with bumping a wafer – but I assure you our technology is amazing to them none the less.
