Biography
Anita is the Marketing Communications Manager for Indium Corporation’s global operations. She is responsible for organizing and executing Indium Corporation’s marketing communications strategies and activities, including advertising, trade exhibition planning and management, Marcom planning and execution, website and social media communications, training meetings and special events, and placing and editing technical papers and articles for industry conferences, publications, and other media - worldwide.
Anita joined Indium Corporation in 2004. She has over 20 years of marketing experience in both the business and consumer arenas, including roles as Director of Marketing & Public Relations and Vice President of Marketing.
Anita has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a MBA in Technology Management from the State University of New York's Institute of Technology (SUNY IT). She was recognized with the Dean’s Award from the SUNY IT School of Business in 2009, the Women in Business Award from the Mohawk Valley Business Journal in 2005, and the Follow the Leaders Award from Leadership Mohawk Valley in 2005.
Anita is very active in a variety of community activities including Rotary International, the SUNY IT Foundation Board, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children’s Ride for Missing Children Mohawk Valley, and numerous other organizations. She is active in mentoring young girls and women entering the business world. She has hosted Rotary Exchange Students from Venezuela, Mexico, Poland, and Chile.
Anita likes to spend time with her family, travel, and enjoys road biking and hiking.
