Indium Corporation Announces Inside Sales Team Changes

Indium Corporation, Utica’s Technology Company®, announces new additions and promotions within its Inside Sales Department.

Lisa Clark has been named Inside Sales Assistant Manager. She is responsible for managing staff, maintaining functional policies and procedures, and coordinating processes with Inside Sales supervisors at Indium Corporation’s global facilities. She also manages quality, audit, and compliance related activities, and drives continuous improvement within the department.

Clark joined Indium Corporation in 2005 and exceled as an Account Specialist, Inside Sales Team Leader, and most recently as Inside Sales Supervisor. During her time with the company, she has led a number of important projects and has helped to meet or exceed departmental goals for customer response time. Clark earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY, and also completed the Dale Carnegie Leadership Skills for Success program.

Nicole Palkovic has been named Inside Sales Supervisor. She is responsible for selecting, training, and supervising account specialists, as well as acting as a liaison between production and inside sales. She is also responsible for tracking sales metrics, such as turnaround time and sales errors.

Palkovic joined Indium Corporation in 2008 as an Account Specialist and moved up to the position of Senior Sales Support Specialist in 2016. She has served as a mentor within the team and assisted with pricing requests and challenging customer service situations. Palkovic is a graduate of T. R. Proctor High School and the Dale Carnegie Leadership Skills for Success program.

Kellie Tyksinski and Sarah Hornyak have been hired as Account Specialists and are responsible for maintaining and growing current business by developing and nurturing current accounts. In addition, Tyksinski and Hornyak will pursue new business activities while working closely with internal and external sales teams.

Tyksinski worked as an optician at New Hartford Eye Associates for nine years where she assessed patient needs, diagnosed optical necessities and limitations, and performed eyewear adjustments. Kellie earned an associate degree in business from SUNY Empire State College.

Hornyak has five years’ customer service experience, most recently providing customer support at AmeriCU Credit Union. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism management from SUNY Plattsburgh, and her associate degree in Business Administration from Finger Lakes Community College.
