NanoFoil® is a localized heat source for bonding electronics assemblies, minimizing exposure of components to high temperatures. It offers high strength and 
high conductivity between most combinations of materials in a flux-free process. Soldering with NanoFoil is not difficult but it does involve some engineering and process optimization to get a low void solder joint. It is for this reason that Indium Corporation has created the NanoFoil activation kit and bundle pack. Each NanoFoil kit includes a 9V battery with ignition probe, metal tweezers, a steel glass cutter, clamps, 2 sets of tin-plated copper blocks, and 6 pieces of 2.5x2.5cm 40-micron foil (NF-40). Included with the kit is a CD with demo instructions, cutting procedures, a NanoFoil User Guide, and an MSDS. NanoFoil activation kits are shipped within 7-10 working days after receipt of the order.
In addition to the activation kit, you can also order a bundle pack for additional bonds. Bundle Packs are available in 100 .5" x .5", 50 1.0" x 1.0" or 20 2.0" x 2.0"squares.
