Claire Mikolajczak is a Director for Indium Corporation’s Metals & Chemicals business unit. She is responsible for sourcing critical raw materials such as gallium and germanium for Indium Corporation’s manufacturing operations, as well as for the manufacturing, reclaiming, and sales of high purity metals and chemicals. She covers the Asian and European continents from her base of operations in Italy.

Claire joined Indium Corporation in 1994. Previous to that, she was Vice President of USA Operations for the Sassoon Group, where she was associated with Indium Corporation via an agency function. Her responsibilities covered trading, processing, and sales to the consuming industries. It was during her 15 years with Sassoon that she developed her expertise in special metals (cobalt, selenium, tellurium, cadmium, rare earths, gallium, germanium, etc.). Her work included visiting numerous mines and refineries world-wide, especially in China and the CIS in the 1980’s.

Claire earned a bachelor’s degree in languages and a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from Brussels University’s Solvay Business School.
