October 7, 2020

Indium Corporation’s Claire Hotvedt, Product Development Specialist, has been honored by the Genesis Group’s 15th Annual Striving for Success Program.

The program honors a class of young professionals and entrepreneurs under the age of 40 for their outstanding dedication and commitment to their profession and the community. More than 100 nominations were submitted, of which only 10 honorees were chosen.

Hotvedt, who joined Indium Corporation in 2018 after participating in its summer internship program in 2014, has been honored as part of the class of 2020. Since working at the company, Hotvedt has shared her industry knowledge and expertise with a broad audience by participating in numerous industry conferences and events. This also includes her involvement in Indium Corporation’s InSIDER Series, a webinar program designed to educate and promote professional growth using a virtual platform.

Hotvedt is active in multiple community clubs and organizations, including skating and volunteering with the Skating Club of New Hartford, participating in the 315Dance group’s ballroom and swing dance programs, and playing with the Hamilton College Orchestra as a community member violinist.

In her role at Indium Corporation, Hotvedt is responsible for facilitating the transition of new solder paste products from developmental stages into fully launched and marketable solutions. She also oversees product characterization and creation of marketing material to assist the sales team. Prior to joining Indium Corporation, Hotvedt held two engineering positions—one at Orthogonal, Inc. and one at Bristol-Myers Squibb.
