Indium Corporation Promotes Rivet, Humpf, Foster

Indium Corporation, Utica’s Technology Company®, has promoted three of the company’s information technology (IT) experts.

Jeff Rivet has been promoted to Group Leader – Network Administrator, Keith Humpf has been promoted to Group Leader – SharePoint/Web Developer, and Tim Foster has been promoted to Web Developer.

Rivet leads the helpdesk, telecommunications, and networking teams. He joined Indium Corporation in 2012 and has propelled multiple technological advancements, including improvements allowing for more efficient expansion capabilities and security features. Rivet attended Mohawk Valley Community College for mechanical engineering and lives in Kirkville.

As the leader of the programming team, Humpf ensures team cohesiveness while overseeing projects. Since joining Indium Corporation in 2011, he has led many technology updates and improved efficiencies through user-based tracking databases and processes. Humpf earned his bachelor’s degree in computer and information science from SUNY Polytechnic Institute (SUNY Poly) and lives in New Hartford.

As Web Developer, Foster is responsible for developing and supporting custom and database applications. Foster joined Indium Corporation in 2010 as an IT intern and was hired as a full-time employee in 2012. He has created and implemented multiple applications, instituted a new license purchasing process and database, and designed a new IT security training program, which was implemented globally. Foster earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science from SUNY Poly and lives in Clinton.
