  • Hello Everyone,

I’ll start by giving myself a very quick introduction. My name is Jamie Schwab and I am a senior at Clarkson University where I am majoring in chemical and biomolecular engineering and minoring in both chemistry and biology.

At school, I am on the concrete canoe SPEED team (Student Projects for Engineering Experience and Design) and I work in a biochemistry and proteomics laboratory. You may be wondering why I chose to do these things when in reality they don’t really have a lot to do with my major or the work I plan to do in the future. I believe it is important to have a wide variety of interests and the skills necessary to accompany those interests. Even if you won’t need those skills in your everyday life who’s to say they won’t come in handy at some point; perhaps this summer.

I am the new R&D Intern here at Indium this summer. Throughout the duration of the internship, I plan on further developing my networking skills, gaining a vast range of experience, and making memories with the great people I’ve met so far and the many more I have yet to meet.

    Here’s to a great summer,

    Jamie
