Indium Corporation announces it has been awarded a 2009 Total Cost of Ownership (TCOOTM) Supplier Award from Celestica, a global leader in the delivery of end-to-end product lifecycle solutions. Celestica's awards program recognizes suppliers that support Celestica's TCOO sourcing strategy to provide its customers with the best possible supply chain solution for their products.
"Indium Corporation is proud to be recognized with the Innovative Supplier Award for Total Cost of Ownership by Celestica," said Ross Berntson, Vice President, Sales Marketing and Technical Support of Indium Corporation. "We are committed to delivering high quality, innovative, and reliable advanced materials solutions and technical expertise to our all customers."
This marks the fourth year of Celestica's TCOO Supplier Awards program, which evaluates and recognizes the top performers in Celestica's global network of over 3,000 suppliers. Celestica's TCOO system is focused on evaluating supplier performance by measuring the total cost to produce, deliver and support products and services beyond the supplier invoice price. As such, it considers the following supplier attributes: quality, delivery, technology, service, pricing and flexibility.
"Congratulations, Indium Corporation, for being recognized with a 2009 TCOO Supplier Award," said Harvinder Sembhi, Chief Procurement Officer, Celestica. "I sincerely thank Indium Corporation for supporting Celestica's supply chain strategy and helping us to drive speed, flexibility and responsiveness through the supply chain."
