Indium Corporation Announces Promotions

Indium Corporation announces that Mike McNamara has been promoted to Corporate Quality Manager, George Kraeger has been named Corporate Analytical Laboratory Manager and Steve Foster has been promoted to Quality Assurance Manager. Mike, George, and Steve are based at Indium's global headquarters in Clinton, NY, USA. 
Mike is responsible for managing quality engineering and supplier quality, new process and facility certifications, new product scale-up, and global quality systems coordination and improvement. He is also responsible for establishing and improving testing methods, implementing cost reductions, designing corporate quality objectives, and establishing and reporting corporate quality metrics. 
Mike joined Indium Corporation in 1982. He has an associate's degree in Engineering Science from Mohawk Valley Community College and a bachelor's degree in Management from Utica College. He is currently a Six-Sigma Brown Belt and is working on his Black Belt certification. Mike resides in Utica, NY.
George's responsibilities include developing laboratory best practices and procedures, benchmarking and acquiring new testing equipment, as well as designing and implementing goals and metrics for analytical testing. He is also responsible for quality control of several areas, including thermal interface materials, indium compounds, metals, and chemicals.
George joined Indium Corporation in 1981 and has worked exclusively in the quality assurance department. He recently established the analytical and quality assurance department at Indium's Korean facility. George resides in Constableville, NY.
 Steve is responsible for various quality assurance and quality control functions for the Utica and Chicago facilities. His responsibilities also include quality engineering for all US-based manufacturing with an emphasis on continuous process improvements and customer initiatives.  
Steve joined Indium Corporation in 2000. He has a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from the State University of New York Institute of Technology. He is a certified quality engineer through the American Society of Quality, has a Six-Sigma Brown Belt Certification, and is working on his Black Belt Certification. Steve resides in Whitesboro, NY.
