SUMMARY:
Working with our Sales Channel Partners, and with full technical support, your role will be to increase and maintain sales of our product range primarily in the automotive area. Your knowledge of the marketplace, gained over several years, will be a critical factor in identifying key opportunities. Home-based, you will travel through-out Germany, and perhaps occasionally beyond, concentrating on the automotive sector, visiting customers' manufacturing and specifying centres. You will report to the European Sales Manager and be supported by a team of world-class technologists and facilities industry standard manufacturing facilities. The benefits package is those you would expect from a leading multinational, and includes competitive salary and car, together with incentive, pension and health insurance schemes. A laptop and mobile phone are also included.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Produce and implement strategic account management plans for assigned key accounts.
- Take responsibility for client relationships at both strategic and operational levels .
- Work with other team members and sales channel partners to deliver an account management approach.
- Negotiate with client representatives to reach closure on pricing and terms.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships within the organisation, fostering exchange of information and experience at all levels.
- Dip Eng from a Technical University or equivalent.

These customers are primarily in the electronics manufacturing sector, concentrated in component manufacturing. Your knowledge of soldering metallurgy and associate fluxes, combined with experience of manufacturing processes is a key factor to success. Home-based, you will travel through-out Germany, and perhaps occasionally beyond, visiting customers' design and manufacturing centres. The Assembly Products segment of the Solder Products Business unit is looking for two people to take on the role of "Assembly Products Specialist" and be trained for product management responsibility.
SUMMARY:
A Product Specialist is responsible for the overall success of assigned product lines including managing the assigned product lines for profitability and growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute competitive pricing, and pricing tools, which secure desired business opportunities.
- Cooperate with Sales teams on developing and executing Key Account Management programs and strategies.
- Network regularly, and globally, with customers, vendors, equipment suppliers, ancillary material suppliers, industry specialists, and others to establish highly-effective working relationships and establish material or testing protocols.

- Minimum Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred) with minimum 5 years applicable industry experience.

SUMMARY:
The Product Specialist will be responsible for providing technical advice and data to support and enhance the development, marketing and customer usage of Semiconductor Packaging materials in assigned product lines to enable greater profitability and growth.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Provide technical advice and produce recommendations to customers which resolve technical issues to the customer's satisfaction.
- Travel to customer sites, mostly Americas, to work with product specifiers.
- Design and execute statistically-valid experiments, to meet sales and customer-driven data needs.
- Participate with Sales Teams on Key Account Management programs
- Network regularly, and globally, with customers, vendors, equipment suppliers, ancillary materials suppliers, industry specialists, and others to establish highly-effective working relationships and materials.
- Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred) and minimum 5 years applicable industry experience.
- Materials, Engineering, Electronics Assembly, and/or Semiconductor Packaging technologies background a plus.
- Motivated, goal-oriented, self-starter with sense of urgency who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment and can work independently as well as part of a global team.
- Proven experience in designing and executing statistically valid experiments. Six-sigma green or black belt training a plus.
- Experienced change agent able to demonstrate excellent communication, networking, and cultural sensitivity skills.
- Approximately 3-8 domestic overnights per month. International travel possibilities. Valid US driver's license and passport are required.
