Indium Corporation expert Pony Liao, Area Technical Manager, Northern China will share his technical expertise at IPC WorksAsia Automotive Electronics High-Reliability Conference, June 25, Shenyang, China.
Liao will present Soldering Material and Stability in Automotive Electronics. Unlike consumer electronics products, automotive electronics place higher demands on soldering material, including chemical stability, durability, and low- or ultra-low voiding. Liao’s presentation will examine the various solder material needs of automotive electronics and offer potential solutions.
Liao provides technical support for Indium Corporation’s electronics assembly materials, semiconductor and advanced assembly materials, and engineered solders and thermal management materials. He has almost 20 years of experience in surface mount technology, specializing in defect prevention, quality continuous improvement, and cost reduction. He was qualified as ASQ CSSBB (Certified Six Sigma Black Belt). Liao earned his bachelor’s degree from Tianjin University in mechanical and electronics engineering.
