Indium Corporation announces the release of its newest informational video that provides real-world examples of drastic improvements of electronics manufacturing uptime and productivity.
This brief video features Indium Corporation Senior Technologist Dr. Ronald C. Lasky as he uses firsthand experiences to explain to SMT expert Phil Zarrow, President and Principal Consultant for ITM Consulting, how simple tweaks to day-to-day operations can drastically improve uptime and productivity.
“We’ve found that, on average, one percent improvement in productivity gives you about three percent more in profit,” Lasky said. “These small, time-saving tips drastically improve profitability.”

Zarrow has been involved with PCB fabrication and assembly for more than 35 years. In addition to his background in automated assembly and cleaning, Zarrow is recognized for his expertise in surface mount reflow soldering technology and in the design and implementation of SMT placement equipment and reflow soldering systems. His extensive hands-on experience also includes set-up and troubleshooting through-hole, and SMT processes throughout the world.
