Indium Corporation is proud to announce that Bernard Leavitt has been promoted to the position of Senior Manager Manufacturing Operations.
In his new role, Leavitt is responsible for performing duties and managing projects that support our strategic global operations interest. He provides analytical and project support, identifies opportunities, creates and implements plans designed to increase operations performance, utilizes lean techniques to improve on-time delivery, and drives product quality.
“Bernie will drive the completion of critical projects that align with company and sales strategy and design and introduce training programs that will enhance operator and supervisor knowledge,” said Brian Reid, Vice President Global Relations. “We look forward to seeing him build off his many successes within the company and continue to excel in his new position.”
Leavitt joined Indium Corporation in 2007 as an extrusion operator and through promotion has held numerous positions within the company. He most recently served as Manufacturing Project Manager. He was responsible for managing, planning, and coordinating projects of strategic manufacturing interest to ensure that project goals and objectives were accomplished on time and within budget. Leavitt earned both his bachelor’s degree in business management and his MBA in business management from the State University of New York’s Empire State College. He is also a graduate of the Dale Carnegie Leadership Skills for Success program and has his graduate certification in Project Management from ESC.
