One of the major obstacles to public acceptance of EVs is range anxiety or the perception that one won’t be able to efficiently charge their vehicle conveniently or travel long distances at will. Many of these anxieties are well founded for the time being as charging infrastructure is in need of attention. Public money is now being made available to charging companies; however, in order to receive said funds they must prove uptime, in some cases 97% or better.
