IPC CFX Industry 4.0 Digital Factory demonstrations will also run Indium Corporation’s materials in its live production lines throughout all three days of the event at booth 327. The digital factory will feature the company’s lead-free, no-clean solder pastes and flux-cored robotic soldering wire.
IPC CFX Industry 4.0 Digital Factory is designed to illustrate the achievements made in digital industry technology standards development over the past year. The first line will feature both The HERMES standard (IPC-HERMES-9852) and IPC’s Connected Factory eXchange (CFX) Internet of Things messaging standard (IPC-2591), which work together to deliver SMT automation value. The second line will feature the wider application of IPC CFX across multiple technologies of assembly production, including manual processes.
