Join Me at SMTA’s PanPac 2022 – January 31 to February 3

Folks,

I will be presenting three papers at PanPac 2022. They are:

1. Low Melt, High Remelt Solder Paste, co-authored with Claire Hotvedt of Indium Corporation, et al.

2. Derivation of the Shewhart Rules, co-authored with Professor Harold Frost and Emily Dean of Dartmouth College.

3. Minimizing Voiding in SMT Assembly of BTCs: 2022, co-authored with Chris Nash, Kim Flanagan, Emily Belfield, and Claire Hotvedt of Indium Corporation and Thomas Tong of BTU International.

The conference also has presentations on Quantum Computing, of which I am session chair. The focus is to present quantum computingin a manner that makes it understandable to the non-expert. I am really looking forward to this session, as I am definitelya novice in this field.

This year, PanPac is at the Kahala Hotel and Resort in Honolulu, shown here in Figure 1.

The January 31 to February 3 venue is a treat for those of us that live in winter climates. I think it is the best show as it is small and intimate; you can really make connections with the other attendees and presenters. It is also surprisingly inexpensive. Flights from the East Coast of the US are only in the $600 range.

So, I hope to see you there.

Cheers,

Dr. Ron
