Indium Corporation announces that Jonathan (Jon) Major has been hired as a Product Manager for Solar Back-End. Jon is responsible for the business development and growth of Indium’s solar back-end products, which include tabbing and bus ribbon, metallization paste, solar fluxes, and miscellaneous soldering materials for solar. He is based at Indium’s global headquarters in Clinton, NY. Jon has over 10 years of program and project management experience with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and contract manufacturers (CMs) around the world, developing and launching consumer electronics. He has held management positions with companies such as Microsoft, Philips Electronics, and Solectron. Jon earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
