Indium Corporation offers high-purity indium metal as a quality starting material for all indium-based compound semiconductor substrates.
Indium Corporation’s high-purity indium metal undergoes rigorous quality standards and advanced analytical instrumentation to ensure consistent product quality from lot to lot.
Available in ingot or shot as 6N (99.9999%) or 6N5 (99.99995%), total impurities are below the maximum allowed in each grade. Indium Corporation also offers a 6N5 grade with individual controlled impurities.
High-purity indium is used as a starting material in the manufacture of indium-based groups III-V compounds for use in infrared detectors, infrared LEDs, and electronic switching applications where silicon-based devices are not suitable, as well as other applications.
