The Indium Corporation marcom department has compiled the list of trade shows in which we will have a presence in 2016. It isn't complete yet, and it is still quite large!
The location of a trade show is no accident. It has to be someplace that people can easily get to but also fairly close to the centers of the technology they are trying to attract. And it doesn't hurt if it is warm and sunny!
The range of shows in which The Indium Corporation participates is so diverse. Most are related to PCB assembly, where we showcase our wide range of solder paste products and our expertise, by presenting technical papers and being part of expert panels. In January we will be at NEPCON Japan and Pan Pac Microelectronics (Hawaii). At Pan Pac Microelectronics, our Jonas Sjoberg will present a paper titled, "High Density Assembly and Root Cause Analyses." In March we will be at Productronica and Semicon, both in China.
Also in March, you will also find us at the Strategies in Light show (billed as, "The largest and longest-running conference and exhibition covering the LED and solid state lighting sectors"). This is where our low temperature solders, thermal interface management materials, and other assembly products will be featured.
If your interest lies in power electronics, then the PCIM show in Nuremburg, Germany is the place for you. We will be there in May. And, by "we," I mean our Europe-based technical and sales teams who can discuss your particular applications or challenges. A particular focus here will be our InFORMS®., our reinforced solder fabrications/preforms which offer improved strength and handling.
To round out the year, we will be at IMAPS in California, USA where we you can see our diverse alloy offering and wide range of products including Heat-Springs® (high-performance thermal interface materials) and indium solder and sealing products.
And for something completely different, we will be at the Society of Vacuum Coaters show in Indianapolis, IN, USA in May. This show gives us the opportunity to showcase our CIGS targets, our full range of indium compounds, and indium and gallium for evaporation.
If you go to any of those shows, stop by our booth and talk to the experts...the local people in your region who can discuss your challenges and give you insight on our products as well as processes and other topics. Our trade show list (on our web site) allows you to schedule a meeting with any of our experts during the shows. This will help you optimize your time at the show of your choice.
