Indium Corporation's Ed Briggs Promoted to Senior Technical Support Engineer

Indium Corporation announces the promotion of Ed Briggs to Senior Technical Support Engineer.

Briggs provides technical support to customers in Eastern Canada and the Southeastern United States and has earned a high level of regard from both his customers and his colleagues. Additionally, he has developed a particular expertise in surface-mount technology as it relates to reflow profiling, which is particularly valuable to Indium Corporation’s global customers.

Briggs joined Indium Corporation in 1990, and has held a variety of positions in production and technical support. He is a Surface Mount Technology Association-certified process engineer. He earned his associate degree in chemical technology from Mohawk Valley Community College, where he received the Douglas J. Bauer Award for Excellence in Chemistry; he earned his Six Sigma Green Belt from Dartmouth College. Briggs has authored a number of technical papers and has presented at technical conferences throughout North America. He resides in Herkimer, N.Y.
