Indium Corporation Reports Market is Stable

May 17, 2017

Indium Corporation’s Donna Vareha-Walsh, Director, Metals Business Unit, shared insights into the global supply and demand for indium at the 10th World Indium & Germanium & Gallium Forum on April 20 in Xiamen, Fujian, China.

Vareha-Walsh’s presentation included detailed information on the international indium supply pattern, and analysis of supply and demand trends.

“For many years, the myth has been widely circulated that indium metal is in short supply. That is simply not true,” Vareha-Walsh stated. “We expect limited movement up and down over the next few years as demand grows and supply comes on line. At this time, supply is stable and remains in sync with demand.”
