Small Fire Contained at Indium Corporation's Business Park Drive Facility

At approximately 3:45 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 1, a small fire ignited in exhaust ductwork at Indium Corporation’s Business Park Drive facility in Utica.
The fire was extinguished immediately and no one was injured. Emergency responders were called as a precaution. Upon arrival, responders inspected ductwork and found no further evidence of fire.
There was no damage to the facility and employees returned to work immediately.
The company is conducting a root cause analysis and implementing preventative measures.
