Indium Corporation's Technical Support Engineer to Present at SMTA Space Coast Technical Conference

Indium Corporation's Southeast Technical Support Engineer, Chris Nash, is presenting at the SMTA Space Coast Technical Conference on October 28, 2009, at the Gaylord Palms Hotel and Convention Center, Kissimmee, FL.

Chris' presentation, Emerging Technical Challenges in the Pb-Free Era, will provide detailed technical solutions to Pb-free challenges such as voiding, tombstoning, graping, and head-in-pillow. He will also discuss the continuing miniaturization of electronics and new directives requiring halogen-free manufacturing.

Chris has a bachelor's degree in Business from Clarkson University, a Six Sigma Green-Belt from Dartmouth College, and is a Certified SMT Process Engineer (SMTA) and a Certified IPC-A-600 Specialist. As a Technical Support Engineer, Chris provides comprehensive technical advice in the selection, use, and application of solder paste, flux, and solder alloy fabrications to customers in the electronics assembly, optoelectronic, semiconductor, and related industries. Chris has authored numerous process and technical guidelines and has presented at several industry forums and conferences. He is a member of the SMTA and participates actively in the IPC standards development committee. Chris is based at Indium's global headquarters in Clinton, NY.
