Indium Corporation’s Dr. Robert Ploessl, Manager of Market and Technology Assessment and Product Manager for Compounds, will present at the Minor Metals Americas Conference, September 26-27 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dr. Ploessl’s presentation, Indium: Abundance to Meet the World’s Needs, discusses the scarcity myth surrounding the availability of indium. This presentation will review the in-depth calculations performed by Indium Corporation’s team of experts that prove the supply of indium is more than adequate to meet the demands of current and future product development.
Dr. Ploessl provides customer support to a variety of high-tech industries that consume indium, gallium, germanium, and tin compounds. He earned a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Regensburg in Germany, and an MBA from the S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.
The Minor Metals Americas Conference, staged by Metal Bulletin, addresses key issues concerning minor metals in electronics applications, particularly encouraging the link between producers of minor metals and the end-user markets that affect them.
