Washers

Solder washers are specialized components designed to provide a precise amount of solder in a washer-like form, ensuring consistent and reliable connections in assembly processes. They are commonly used in electronics, radio frequency (RF) applications, connectors, and industries where controlled solder deposition is critical for reliable and durable joints.

Solder-Ready Washers

Washers are available in a variety of alloys, including indium-based alloys that allow for soldering to ceramics or other non-metallics.

Adjustable Solder Volume

When using solder washers, it’s crucial to consider the inner diameter (ID) for proper fit, account for flux coating in calculations, and apply minimal flux for effective surface preparation.

Optimal Flux Range

When you are flux coating your washers, less is more. A concentration of 0.5% to 1.5% by weight is enough to reduce surface oxides and prepare the surface for wetting.
