Indium Corporation is encouraging the public to vote for its internship program as one of the Top 100 Internship Programs in the nation.
Organized by WayUp, companies are selected as the 100 best internship programs in the U.S. by a panel of industry expert judges and thousands of public votes. Areas of focus include diversity and inclusion, compensation and perks, program orientation and structure, career development for interns, full-time employment prospects, company culture and engagement, and unique aspects of the program.
Votes can be cast at nationalinternday.com and concludes on National Intern Day, July 29. To vote, search for Indium Corporation and click the heart icon to provide your information. Each device is allowed one vote every 24 hours.
Since its creation, our internship program has aimed to be far more than your average internshipits about celebrating our future leaders, said Jim McCoy, talent acquisition supervisor. Our interns are encouraged to be full-fledged members of the team, with projects and responsibilities that give them valuable industry insight and real-world experience. Many of our interns have moved on to become full-time employees at Indium Corporation, and we have great pride in all the places their professional career will take them.
The company hopes that getting listed as one of the nations Top 100 Internship Programs will honor the supervisors and past interns who have helped make the program not your average internship, McCoy said.
