Job Responsibilities  

• Provide technical support and services, such as offering product and process recommendations, troubleshooting, and conducting product evaluations and qualifications.
• Educate, train, and act as a technical resource.
• Provide customers’ feedback on technical issues/requirements.
• Responsible for performing and guiding technical activities resulting from approved self-initiated or assigned laboratory programs, leading to innovative applications and extensions of existing or new products/technologies that are important to the business of Indium Corporation.
• Establishes and cultivates an extensive network of support (R&D laboratory, manufacturing, engineering, sales, and marketing) to facilitate the completion of assignments.
• Active participation in project planning.
• May assist in planning regional business and marketing goals.
• Establish network across industries.
• Document experimental data/observations, prepare reports, and make presentations.
• Design wins in evaluation and technological roadmap updates.
• Market intelligence on competitor’s product performance.
• Contribution of tech papers internally and externally.
• Other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Materials Science, or Electronics.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience. Prior experience in EMS/OSAT, mobile phone or server industries, advanced packaging, or power electronics packaging is highly preferred.
• High self-motivation, able to function well in a team.
• Must possess the drive for customer service.
• Able to be integrated well in the company structure.
• Quick reaction, good communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership and team spirit.
• Ability to maintain positive and professional interpersonal relationship with customers.
• Willing to travel based on the job’s demand.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Candidates based in Dongguan or Shenzhen are preferred.
