Indium Corporation, Utica’s Technology Company®, has partnered with the Workforce Development Board to become a host employer for the Career Pathways for Youth (CPY) program.
As part of this program, Indium Corporation will welcome participants on assignment to work alongside employees to develop valuable work experience and deliver meaningful contributions to Indium Corporation’s business.
“Indium Corporation employees will make amazing mentors because they not only possess a great deal of expertise, but they also care personally,” said Dawn Roller, Director of HQ Services.
CPY targets refugees and underprivileged youths, both in school and out of school in the city of Utica, in an effort to help them gain work experience through various locations throughout the city. Participants also have access to tutoring and educational assistance opportunities to improve academic skills.
