Regional Finance Manager

Job Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Regional Finance Manager to oversee financial operations across multiple Asia Pacific entities. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, local accounting standards, and statutory requirements, while supporting strategic business objectives across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Review and publish monthly financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP and local accounting standards.
- Consolidate and analyze regional financial results for corporate reporting. Lead annual budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory reporting, and internal controls. Liaise with auditors and tax authorities during audits and filings.
- Support tax planning, regulatory reporting, and exposure to Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and HS Code requirements.
Accounting Operations
- Oversee general ledger accuracy and proper financial documentation.
- Review reconciliations and resolve discrepancies across sites.
- Manage working capital, including cash flow forecasting, AR, AP, and inventory monitoring.
- Review capital expenditure requests and fixed asset management.
- Support Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) initiatives and drive finance automation/digitalization projects.
Financial Analysis & Strategy
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage financial risks.
- Support long-term financial planning and strategic initiatives.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop regional finance teams.
- Support succession planning and talent development in collaboration with HR.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching.
Others
- Handle ad hoc projects and assignments as required by management.
Job Requirements
- A qualified member of an accountancy body or holder of an equivalent qualification.
- 12-15 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with strong compliance experience.
- Solid regional experience is a must.
- Exposure to BPO setup environment.
- Experience in a regional context is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- A critical thinker with attention to detail, reliability, and focus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Capable of multitasking and thriving in a dynamic environment.
- Entrepreneurial, hands-on, independent, yet a team player.
- High levels of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
