Indium Corporation Announces Key Updates to Technical Service Team

Indium Corporation is pleased to announce two key updates to its industry-leading technical service team. Thuy Nguyen has been promoted to the position of Technical Support Engineer II and Liam Evans has joined the company as a Technical Support Engineer.

In her new role, Nguyen continues to provide leading-edge technical support to Indium Corporation’s customers and potential customers in the Southwest U.S. region. She also assumes responsibility for resolving complex solder process challenges.

Evans provides customers with technical assistance to resolve solder process-related issues. This includes assisting customers with optimizing their use of Indium Corporation’s solder materials, and providing product and process training.

“The well-earned promotion of Thuy and the key addition of Liam to our team will ensure our continued ability to deliver industry-leading technical support to our customers,” said Adam Murling, Technical Services Manager, USA.

Nguyen joined Indium Corporation in 2015 and has held roles in Quality, R&D, and Manufacturing during her time with the company. She has contributed to multiple large-scale projects and assisted in the implementation of new processes and training materials. She holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Utica College and is a Certified SMT Process Engineer (CSMTPE).

Evans is a 2022 graduate of Indium Corporation’s award-winning internship program during which time he supported the development of thermal products. He previously worked as a Research Assistant at Albany Medical College. Evans earned his bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
