Indium Corporation Engineers Achieve 100% SMTA Certification and Historic High Score

Indium Corporation is proud to continue its legacy of producing the highest quality technical support engineers, benefitting both its global customer base as well as the surface mount technology (SMT) industry. This legacy is evidenced by its current tally of 36 SMTA (Surface Mount Technology Association) certified employees as well as the impressive accomplishment of Technical Engineer Carson Burt, who recently achieved a score of 98%the highest in SMTA historywhile earning his SMTA CSMTPE (certified surface mount technology process engineer) certification.

“My success on the SMTA CSMTPE exam is largely owed to the unwavering support I received from my colleagues at Indium Corporation,” said Burt. “It is an honor to work for a company that places such a high priority on the technical competence, continuing education, and overall professionalism of its people.”

With the recent addition of Burt, along with team members Josh Dobransky and Thuy Nguyen, Indium Corporation’s entire U.S. Technical Support team has earned the SMTA CSMTPE certification. “We at Indium Corporation are proud of Carson’s impressive accomplishment as well as that of our entire technical support team,” said Adam Murling, Technical Services Manager, USA. “Our 100% CSMTPE certification rate is further evidence of the commitment we have to serving our customers with industry-leading technical support.”
