Indium Corporation‘s Principal Engineer Advanced Materials, Andy C. Mackie, Ph.D., will conduct a webinar on the rapid advancements taking place within e-Mobility electronics technology. The webinar, part of Indium Corporation’s free InSIDER Series, will take place on January 10, with two sessions at 10 a.m. EST and 10 p.m. EST.
Despite rapid advancements in e-Mobility electronics technology, significant challenges remain. The webinar will address a variety of topics such as the impact of market and technical forces on the global market, energy infrastructure and its impact on vehicles, charging technology, use of data center AI, supply chain issues, and types of passenger EVs. Dr. Mackie will also explore the changing nature of automotive electronics reliability in light of new approaches to reliability, increased power and power density, and increased functional density.
“Evolution of electronics technology within the e-Mobility industry is being driven by three main factors,” said Mackie. “Increased safety, from the ubiquity of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Electrification, the move from internal combusion engines to fully electric vehicles. Automation, the emerging demand for semi- and fully-automated driving vehicles, enabled by vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technologies.”
“Not only will we examine the issues facing e-Mobility electronics technology, we will also touch upon the ways in which Indium Corporation is working with customers and equipment partners to meet their needs,” Mackie added.
