Job Responsibilities:
The Area Sales Manager plays a critical role in driving business growth, achieving sales targets, and strengthening customer relationships within the assigned territory. The role is responsible for effective sales planning, territory management, market development, and revenue generation, while ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer expectations.
- Meet or exceed assigned territory sales goals and objectives.
- Maintain strong product, application, and market knowledge to effectively advise and influence customers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and key decision-makers within strategic accounts.
- Manage territory performance effectively with strong planning, forecasting, and business control.
- Handle complex sales situations, large accounts, and customer escalations professionally with minimal supervision.
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries, service requirements, and business needs.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure alignment with customer expectations and successful business execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities.
- Contribute ideas and recommendations to management for market expansion and business growth initiatives.
- Manage business activities within the approved budget.
- Be prepared to travel overseas up to 50% as required for business operations.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.
Job Requirements
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience in a management role within sales and marketing, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of sales and marketing practices.
- Proven success in selling and marketing technical products.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Possess a valid driving license.
