Indium Corporation, Utica's Technology Company®, has hired Colleen Bierstine as a Marketing Communications Specialist.
Bierstine is based at corporate headquarters in Clinton and is responsible for coordinating Indium Corporation's global trade show program. This includes maintaining a professional and consistent presence across all venues, geographic regions, and markets by working closely with product managers, sales managers, and vendors. She will also support internal and external communications, including the company's social media presence.
Bierstine earned a bachelor's degree in public relations in 2015 from Utica College, where she was also named salutatorian of her class. Her experience includes work in Utica College's Office of Marketing and Communications as a public relations intern. In this role, she was responsible for internal communications, serving as a liaison between the college and the media, and managing social media accounts. She was also a student blogger for the college.
