Indium Corporation, Utica's Technology Company™, will host a job fair on April 25 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Oneida-Herkimer-Madison BOCES, 4747 Middle Settlement Road, New Hartford.
Indium Corporation plans to fill 21 summer seasonal positions in Utica. At this job fair, the company will provide prospective employees with the opportunity to learn about the organization, talk to current employees, and interview, on-the-spot, for positions at the company's Business Park Drive facility. The positions are:
- Mid-May through August employment
- Monday through Friday
- 40 hours per week with overtime potential
- First, second, and third shift openings
These positions require various abilities, including machining, assembly, and light industrial mechanical production.
"This job fair represents a very exciting time at Indium Corporation," said Dawn Roller, Director – HQ Services. "Due to increased demands from our customers, we're looking to fill 21 open positions through this summer. This expanded demand further reinforces Indium Corporation's position as Utica's Technology Company."
Applications must be completed at the event. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and hold a high school diploma or GED. Those hired will be required to successfully complete a drug screening and fitness-for-duty medical exam.
