Indium Corporation product specialist and former talent acquisition supervisor, Jim McCoy, was recognized by Oneida-Herkimer-Madison (OHM) BOCES with their 2022 Individual Contribution Award during a ceremony for its Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) on November 16.
McCoy was recognized for his exemplary work with the P-TECH program throughout his tenure as talent acquisition coordinator, and then supervisor, with Indium Corporation. Over the course of more than eight years liaising with OHM BOCES, he guided many P-TECH participants to successful careers with Indium Corporation.
P-TECH provides an integrated high school and college curriculum focusing on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), while also providing workplace skills, including leadership, communication, and problem-solving.
“P-TECH OHM is a training and development ground for our community’s students and a source of our next generation of teammates. The school and staff do an exemplary job of preparing and cultivating our next generation of teammates, as well as tomorrow’s professionals in many fields,” said Indium Corporation Corporate Vice President, Rick Short. “Jim was instrumental in building the great partnership we currently enjoy with P-TECH OHM and is well-deserving of this tremendous honor.”
