CLINTON, N.Y., August 11, 2026 — Indium Corporation, a leading provider of innovative materials solutions for electronics assembly, semiconductor packaging, and thermal management applications, today announced the opening of a new manufacturing facility in Guadalajara, Mexico. Company executives, employees, sales channel partners, and local guests gathered to celebrate the milestone during a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The newly completed 1,230-square-meter facility will manufacture solder paste, cored wire, and wave flux products to support customers throughout the Americas and global markets. Production will initially focus on Indium Corporation’s best-selling paste series Indium8.9HF and Indium10.8HF. This marks the first phase of the company’s long-term manufacturing investment in Mexico, with more capabilities planned as the facility grows to meet customer demand.
At full capacity, the Guadalajara facility is expected to produce approximately 18–20 metric tons of solder paste per month. In addition to manufacturing and operational roles, the site will house customer service and technical support teams.
“Mexico is home to exceptional engineering talent, a thriving electronics manufacturing ecosystem, and customers who continue to push the boundaries of innovation,” Indium Corporation President and CEO Ross Berntson said. “We’re proud to deepen our investment in this region and remain committed to growing alongside our customers.”

Mexico has played an important role in Indium Corporation’s global strategy for decades as one of North America’s leading electronics manufacturing centers. The new facility strengthens the company’s regional manufacturing capabilities while expanding its global supply chain network to better support customers across the Americas.
Designed with advanced manufacturing and quality systems, the Guadalajara facility enhances Indium Corporation’s ability to accelerate new product introductions, improve manufacturing consistency, and deliver the quality and reliability customers expect. It also expands the company’s capacity to support continued innovation across high-growth markets, including AI, automotive, electric vehicles, robotics, medical technology, energy storage, and advanced semiconductor packaging.

“This facility represents much more than an expansion of our manufacturing footprint,” Berntson said. “For more than 92 years, we’ve believed that materials science changes the world, but that only happens through the partnerships we build with our customers. Today’s opening reflects our confidence in Mexico, our commitment to the customers we serve here, and our shared vision for the future of advanced electronics manufacturing.”
