Indium Corporation’s Eric Bastow, Assistant Technical Manager, will present at a meeting of the Puget Sound Chapter of the SMTA on Oct. 27 in Seattle, Wash.
Bastow’s technical session, Flux Residue, will include a discussion on how understanding flux technology, and other factors that determine the electrical reliability of flux residues, is an important part of the assembly process.
Bastow provides technical support for Indium Corporation’s full range of solder products for the electronics assembly, semiconductor packaging, and thermal management markets. He is an SMTA-certified process engineer and has earned his Six Sigma Green Belt from the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH. Bastow is a certified IPC-A-600 and 610D specialist.
