Indium Corporation will join businesses and organizations across the country on Oct. 3 in recognition of National Manufacturing Day 2014.
National Manufacturing Day is designed to expand a community’s knowledge about, and enhance peoples’ awareness of, manufacturing careers and their value to the local, regional, and national economy.
Locally, Indium Corporation will participate in an exhibition and educational event starting at 8:30 a.m. at the SUNY Poly Wildcat Field House, 100 Seymour Road, Utica. This community event is open to the public and will feature interactive displays of products and technology from the Mohawk Valley and educational opportunities, including panel discussions.
Indium Corporation’s Marcom Specialist Victoria Cruz-Griffith will also participate in a student/educator panel presentation. Cruz-Griffith will discuss her experience from college graduation to becoming an established professional in the manufacturing industry.
Cruz-Griffith is responsible for coordinating Indium Corporation’s trade shows around the world. She works with product managers, sales managers, and vendors to ensure that Indium Corporation has a cohesive and professional trade show program across all venues, geographic regions, and markets. Cruz-Griffith also assists with product previews, media releases, internal communications, and product photography. Cruz-Griffith earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Utica College.
