Indium Corporation, Utica’s Technology Company®, has strengthened its team with the promotions of Jeff Anweiler and Barb Manning, and the hiring of Steve Mannix.
Anweiler has been promoted to product segment Business Manager, and Manning has been promoted to Senior Production Manager. Mannix has been hired as a Network Technician.
In his new position, Anweiler manages all product line activity, including sales, product marketing, and business management. He also assists with the development of new sales and marketing activities. Anweiler was previously responsible for product sales and business development. He joined Indium Corporation in 1995 and has held positions in production, insides sales, technical service, product marketing support, field sales, sales management, and new business development. Anweiler earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and his MBA in technology management from SUNY Polytechnic Institute (SUNY Poly).
In her new role, Manning focuses on new projects and product introductions. She is also responsible for leading, strengthening, and supporting work cell production supervisors to ensure on-time delivery and business growth. Manning joined Indium Corporation in 2004 and has successfully taken on several supervisory roles for various production areas.
As a Network Technician, Mannix is responsible for all facets of IT support, including assisting employees with hardware and software, training, and troubleshooting. He has more than 15 years of IT experience. Prior to joining Indium Corporation, he served as an IT Contracts and Licensing Administrator at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, N.Y. Mannix earned his degree in computer science from SUNY Morrisville. He is also a Certified Software Manager, Certified Helpdesk Analyst, and Certified Software Manager (CSM) in Program Planning.
